In II Corinthians 8:1-5, The Apostle Paul spoke of the great love the Macedonian churches had for others.

He said they gave out of an abundance of joy, out of deep poverty and beyond their ability to give. 

How is this possible? Because they gave themselves first to the Lord and God enabled them to give. 

Truett Cathy in his book “WEALTH is it WORTH it” page 151 asks, “Why did God create trees?”

His answer, “To give us shelter, fruit, timber, and oxygen.” 

He said that everything God made was created to give, including us.
